Here’s something to keep in mind over the next election year. Religion and politics should not exist as one. Politicians like Rick Perry put their own religious beliefs ahead of social and political progress, which includes dismissing science and fact in the interest of their interpretation of the Bible. Let us not forget that the Bible is a book of mass murder, rape, and countless contradictions. 

The interests of politicians are not human interests, they are selfish, shallow interests and any politician that believes in creation over Evolution should not hold office as they cannot comprehend science. 

Free thought is significantly more oppressed than the Christianity Rick Perry is so proud to be a part of. 

Remember when you vote next year to vote for someone with interests in progressing humanity and benefiting the citizens of this great country, not the misinterpreted will of a non-existent deity.

Using a religious text to prevent people from living a full life with the ones they love and claiming that the offspring raised by a homosexual marriage will hardly be real human beings?
